The Usual Suspects in Koreatown
On July 18th, 2021, California’s notorious “Sideshow Takeover” made a stop in Koreatown, Los Angeles at the intersection of Olympic, Alrington, and Wilton a 5 way intersection.
The usual suspects included Dodge Chargers, Ford Mustangs, Chevy Camaros, and pretty much anything that can get a little sideways. I have to admit I have seen several Sideshow Takeovers and this certainly wasn’t the best showing.
Apart from the dangerousness of the activity, these sideshow guys should really brush up on their driftability before trying to throw a show.
Might I recommend some sesame oil on your tires before you start the show next time? You’re in Koreatown, Los Angeles after all.
Weak Skids & Short Lived
Can we even call these maneuvers drifts? They look more like spin outs to me. Although the show lasted about 10 minutes, eyewitnesses claim that the actual time spent drifting by those involved was less than 10 seconds. Most of the time was spent driving in circles by the participants.
